Commercial fault finding

Commercial electrical faults investigated methodically.

Commercial electrical fault finding in Birmingham for power, lighting, tripping, equipment supplies and intermittent faults, with clear findings and next actions.

Restore the operation without guessing at the cause.

Commercial faults can affect trading, production, staff and critical equipment. BES begins by understanding what changed, which areas are affected, when the fault occurs and what can be safely isolated.

Testing then follows the evidence. Where the issue cannot be completed during the first attendance, the client receives a clear position, any immediate safety action and the recommended next step.

01

Evidence first

Symptoms, circuit information, operating conditions and recent work reviewed before assumptions are made.

02

Controlled testing

Accessible circuits and equipment investigated using a safe, proportionate test sequence.

03

Clear next action

Findings separate what is confirmed, what remains uncertain and what is required to restore or repair.

01

Typical commercial electrical faults

The first attendance can cover a defined investigation across common business-critical problems.

  • Repeated tripping, loss of power and intermittent circuit faults
  • Lighting, emergency-lighting and control-supply problems
  • Burning, overheating or damaged accessories requiring safe assessment
  • Three-phase supplies, phase sequence and equipment-feed checks
  • Faults affecting retail, hospitality, offices, gyms and industrial equipment
02

Call-out pricing remains controlled

A normal-hours fault-finding attendance can be budgeted online using the BES two-hour minimum. Materials, access equipment, extensive tracing and remedial work are agreed separately when the fault cannot be safely completed within that attendance.

Frequently asked questions

Commercial questions, answered clearly.

What information helps before a commercial fault-finding visit?

Provide the affected area or equipment, when the issue started, photographs, breaker or circuit references, any recent work and whether the fault is constant or intermittent.

Will the fault always be repaired on the first visit?

Not always. BES will complete a safe repair where the cause, access, materials and authorisation allow it. Otherwise the confirmed findings and next action are recorded clearly.

Can BES investigate three-phase commercial supplies?

Yes, within the agreed scope and safe access conditions, including supply checks, protective-device information and phase-sequence investigation where relevant.
